According to a Reuters report, a spokesperson for the German Foreign Ministry announced that Turkey's Ambassador to Berlin, Ahmet Başar Şen, was summoned to the ministry due to Merih Demiral's 'grey wolf' salute.

Following German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser's statement that "the symbols of Turkish right-wing extremists have no place in our stadiums" and her call for sanctions from UEFA, Germany's Ambassador to Ankara, Jürgen Schulz, was summoned to the Turkish Foreign Ministry yesterday.

It was stated that today, the German Foreign Ministry summoned Turkey's Ambassador to Berlin, Ahmet Başar Şen, to the ministry. The German Foreign Ministry spokesperson indicated that the Ambassador was summoned due to the 'grey wolf' salute.
