Turkish Airlines resumes flights to Libya after 10 years

Libyan Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibeh announced that Turkish Airlines (THY) will resume flights to his country next week after a 10-year hiatus.

Turkish Airlines resumes flights to Libya after 10 years

Libyan Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibeh stated in a post on his social media account, "Praise be to God, after a hiatus of nearly 10 years, Turkish Airlines will resume flights to Libya starting next week."

Pointing out that the resumption of THY's flights to Libya is an indicator of stability in his country, Dbeibeh thanked the Civil Aviation Authority and all relevant institutions in his country that contributed to this step.

THY General Manager Bilal Ekşi also stated in a post on his social media account, "Our flights to Libya are starting. We will operate 3 flights per week. Our flights are now open for sale."
