A new round of the Confidence-Building Measures Meeting between Turkey and Greece was held on the island of Crete.
According to the statement made by the Ministry of National Defense on its social media account, the meeting was hosted by the Greek Ministry of National Defense in the city of Chania, Crete.
Ambassadors, high-level military officials, and civilian representatives from both countries attended the meeting. During the talks, the confidence-building measures previously agreed upon by the parties throughout 2026 were evaluated, and the 2027 implementation plan was also discussed.
At the meeting, both sides reviewed the Confidence-Building Measures previously agreed upon throughout 2026 and discussed the 2027 implementation plan. The meeting was held in a positive atmosphere. The next meeting will be hosted by Turkey.
