Turkish Armed Forces neutralize 3 terrorists in Iraq and Syria

The Ministry of National Defense reported that it is conducting "unpredictable, unconventional, rapid, and continuous operations" within the framework of counter-terrorism. The statement noted that the Turkish Armed Forces neutralized 2 PKK terrorists identified in the Claw-Lock Operation region in northern Iraq. Furthermore, it was stated that 1 PKK/YPG terrorist was eliminated in the Euphrates Shield region in northern Syria.

The Ministry emphasized that these operations are carried out with the aim of destroying terrorism at its source, pointing out that the determined efforts of the Turkish Armed Forces are of critical importance for ensuring security in the region.

Recent increases in terrorist attacks and security threats have led Turkey to further strengthen its counter-terrorism strategy. Security sources stated that air-supported operations will continue to increase in order to enhance the continuity and effectiveness of these missions.

The Turkish Armed Forces noted that they will continue to fight with determination against both domestic terrorist elements and cross-border threats. These operations are of vital importance in line with Turkey's goal of ensuring its national security.
