Former Patiswiss CEO Elif Aslı Yıldız Tunaoğlu had threatened a consumer, who shared a post on LinkedIn about a moldy chocolate bar they had purchased, with her lawyers, stating, “You are facing us and the giant MIGROS.” Following the backlash against the incident, Tunaoğlu resigned.

Following these events, the company Patiswiss AG, operating in the Swiss town of Gunzgen, announced that it has filed commercial lawsuits in Switzerland against Patıswıss Çikolata Gıda San. ve Tic. A.Ş. due to the registration of its trademark-protected brands in many countries.
