The depth of the earthquake was measured at 10.69 km.

Minutes after this earthquake, another one occurred at 11:58.
According to AFAD, the magnitude of the earthquake, which again had its epicenter in the Tuşba district of Van, was measured at 4.1 this time.
AFAD reported that the earthquake was recorded at a depth of 4.42 kilometers below the surface.
