Two more detention orders issued in Gülistan Doku investigation
Detention, search, and seizure orders have been issued for Tunceli State Hospital IT staff Burçin Yerlikaya and Yücel Erdem as part of the investigation into the disappearance of Gülistan Doku.
In the investigation into the disappearance of Gülistan Doku, a second-year student in the Child Development Department at Munzur University who has been missing in Tunceli since January 5, 2020, 12 of the 15 suspects taken into custody were arrested, while 3 were released under judicial control.
A red notice was also issued via Interpol for the fugitive suspect Umut Altaş, who is in the USA.
While the Tunceli Chief Public Prosecutor's Office continues its work on the case, detention, search, and seizure orders have been issued for Tunceli State Hospital IT staff Burçin Yerlikaya and Yücel Erdem regarding allegations that Doku's hospital records were deleted.
