In the Turgutlu district of Manisa, many workers were injured in an accident involving two minibuses transporting personnel to factories and a bus.
The minibuses with license plates 45 J 6542 and 45 ADY 420, and the bus with license plate 45 ADJ 098, whose drivers have not yet been identified, collided at the Turgutlu Organized Industrial Zone viaduct crossing on the Izmir-Turgutlu highway.
Upon notification, numerous ambulances, fire department, and police teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident.
Many workers in the three vehicles, which were stated to be transporting personnel to factories in the OIZ, were injured.
Fire department teams intervened to assist workers trapped in the vehicles.
The injured were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulance.
Due to the accident, the viaduct was closed to traffic in the direction of Turgutlu.
