UEFA Europa League final: Some roads in Istanbul to be closed to traffic
Road closures and alternative routes have been announced due to the 2026 UEFA Europa League final, which will be played at Beşiktaş Park in Istanbul.
According to a statement from the Istanbul Police Department, roads to be closed to traffic and alternative routes have been determined for the period between May 17 and May 20, as part of the UEFA Europa League final to be played between Freiburg and Aston Villa at Beşiktaş Park on Wednesday, May 20, and the technical setup work preceding it.
In this context, from 07:00 today until the end of the match, Şehit Mehmet Street, the exit roads from the Bomonti-Dolmabahçe Tunnel to Kadırgalar Street, and the Maçka turns will be closed to vehicle traffic.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES
Dolmabahçe Gazhane Street, Dolmabahçe Street, and Kadırgalar Street can be used as alternative routes.
