Journalist Uğur Dündar reacted to the fees charged by barbers and hairdressers in Çeşme for a haircut and shave.

Sözcü columnist Uğur Dündar rebelled against the hairdresser fees in Çeşme in a post on his social media account.
Stating that there are barbers and hairdressers charging 2,000 TL for a haircut and shave, Dündar used the expression, “It has ceased to be a situation that can be explained by this inflation; it has turned into a mindless craze.”
The entirety of Dündar’s post is as follows:
“There are barbers and hairdressers in Çeşme-Alaçatı charging 2,000 liras for a haircut and shave!
You read that right, a haircut and shave is 2,000 TL!..
It has ceased to be a situation that can be explained by this inflation; it has turned into a mindless craze!..
And then, for the retiree...
Period.”
