Uğur Dündar's notable message on Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı: It does not suit us to kick someone who is down

In a post on his social media account, Uğur Dündar took his followers back years to when Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı first started his career. 

The repercussions of the operation targeting illegal betting, qualified fraud, bribery, and money laundering, conducted in 21 provinces with its center in Adana, are growing. In the investigation where 200 people, including journalist Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı—known publicly by the abbreviation "ROK"—were detained, unprecedented financial details regarding the system have emerged, and it has been understood that there is another new prison sentence ruling against Kütahyalı.

While these developments are being closely followed, a notable post regarding Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı came from journalist Uğur Dündar.

Here is Uğur Dündar's ROK post that took his followers back years:

"I first encountered Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı (ROK) while I was working at the Doğan Group. He was Reha Muhtar's assistant; they were going up to the CNN TÜRK floor in the elevator I was in.

In the elevator, he showed me such respect and paid me such compliments, you wouldn't believe it.

Then he grew powerful and became a columnist for FETÖ's operation newspaper, Taraf. During the FETÖ plots (Ergenekon, Balyoz, Military Espionage and Prostitution...), he tried very hard to have me arrested.

After he separated from his wife, when he slandered again, I quoted his wife's interview with Nevşin Mengü and said, 'I do not consider someone who commits violence against his wife a man, and I will not respond to him.' I said other things as well.

He filed a criminal complaint with the prosecutor's office, and I received a decision of non-prosecution.

In other words, I gave him a piece of my mind when he was at his most powerful.

Now he has fallen. Even his own supporters are tearing him apart.

But it does not suit us to kick someone who is down.

Let us say everyone is innocent until the judiciary delivers a verdict and it becomes final, and let us wait."
