Uğur Mumcu tribute from Özgür Özel: 'That brick will be pulled, that wall will come down'

Investigative journalist and master writer Uğur Mumcu was assassinated in Ankara 33 years ago today. Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel did not forget Uğur Mumcu.

Sharing a memorial message for Mumcu on his X account, Özel stated, "I commemorate journalist and author Uğur Mumcu, who walked into the darkness with his pen, with respect and longing on the 33rd anniversary of his assassination."

“THAT BRICK WILL BE PULLED, THAT WALL WILL COME DOWN...”

In the continuation of his message, the CHP leader emphasized, "That brick will be pulled, that wall will come down; we will surely bring this country to its bright future, cleansed of deep darkness."
