Muzaffer Şirin, the stand leader of the Galatasaray fan group ultrAslan, known publicly as "Sebahattin Şirin," who was detained as part of an investigation into illegal betting and sports-related crimes, has been placed under house arrest and issued a travel ban by the court.
Muzaffer Şirin, known as the stand leader of the Galatasaray fan group ultrAslan and recognized publicly by the name "Sebahattin Şirin," was referred to the courthouse after completing his procedures at the police station following his detention as part of an investigation into illegal betting and sports-related crimes.
Şirin was referred to the criminal judgeship of peace with a request for house arrest and a travel ban on charges of "possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition, disrupting the order of competitions through statements made on social media, unauthorized entry of spectators into competition and viewing areas, and publicly spreading misleading information to the public."
The court ruled for house arrest and a travel ban for Şirin.
