Ümit Özdağ shares thanks and information for İmamoğlu: 'Permission was not granted'

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş visited Gönül Özdağ, the mother of Zafer Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ, at her home in Ankara. 

Zafer Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ, who is currently detained at Marmara Prison in Silivri, stated, "Although Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mr. Ekrem İmamoğlu applied three times to visit me in Silivri, he was not granted permission."

Zafer Party Deputy Chairman Ali Şehirlioğlu and CHP Ankara Provincial Chairman Ümit Erkol were also present during the visit. 

Özdağ also published a thank-you message on his social media account regarding the visit. Stating that İmamoğlu had applied three times to visit him in Silivri but was denied permission, Özdağ used the following expressions:  

"Although Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mr. Ekrem İmamoğlu applied three times to visit me in Silivri, he was not granted permission.

I would like to thank Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mr. Ekrem İmamoğlu, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mr. Mansur Yavaş, and CHP Ankara Provincial Chairman Mr. Ümit Erkol for their kind visit to my mother, Gönül Özdağ."
