Unbelievable move by AKP municipality: No tea or water for CHP members!
Following the AKP-run Bahçelievler Municipality, pressure on CHP council members has now begun at another AKP-run municipality in Istanbul, Güngören Municipality. Tea and water service for CHP council members has been discontinued.
Tea and water service for CHP council members has been banned at the AKP-run Güngören Municipality.
Ergün Edepali, Deputy Group Chairperson of the CHP at the Güngören Municipal Council, announced the scandalous news via his social media account.
In his statement on his X account, Edepali used the following expressions:
“Upon the instruction of Güngören Deputy Mayor Ali Furkan Sevinç, tea and water service to our group room has been banned. Throughout our lives, we have fought against bans and those who impose them, and we will continue to do so. Keep walking, Hızır Pasha, your wheel will be broken too.”
