Kabaiş, a student in the Preschool Teaching Department at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University (YYÜ) who told her friends she was going to the shore to collect pebbles, has not been heard from since September 27.
To find Kabaiş, whose mobile phone and headphones were found on the shore, the Coast Guard Van Lake Group Command, the Provincial Gendarmerie Command, the Provincial Security Directorate's Seamen and Navigation Services Bureau and Underwater Group Command, and AFAD diver teams are conducting operations in Lake Van, also utilizing underwater imaging devices.
Teams on the shore are also continuously checking residential areas near the coast, abandoned structures, and reed beds in an effort to locate the missing student.
Kabaiş's family and relatives continue to wait in the area where the search is being conducted.
