Unexpected call from Nagehan Alçı regarding IMM cases! 'To strengthen trust in the judiciary...'
Pro-government journalist Nagehan Alçı, speaking on the IMM investigation, emphasized that the trials should be broadcast live on television.
While MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli gave the green light to the demand frequently voiced by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel at his party's 'Defending the National Will' rallies—that 'IMM cases should be broadcast live on TRT'—AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated, "If Mr. Bahçeli has used such an expression, it is a very good appreciation, it would be beneficial."
Journalist Nagehan Alçı, who is close to the government, also said that the IMM cases should be broadcast live.
Alçı said, "Broadcasting the trials live would be healthy for strengthening people's trust in the judiciary and for creating a sense that justice is being served. A legal regulation should be made for live broadcasting."
