FAMILY FINDS DEATH SUSPICIOUS
Although the autopsy report for Rojin Kabaiş stated that the cause of death was drowning, her family rejects the possibility of suicide. Since a confidentiality order has been placed on the file, the report has not been shared with the Van Bar Association. According to statements from the Diyarbakır and Van Bar Associations, DNA belonging to two different men was detected on Kabaiş's body, but the records regarding which part of the body the DNA was taken from have not yet been added to the file. Her father, Cabir Kabaiş, had pointed to the marks on his daughter's throat, back, and fingers, stating, "They murdered my daughter."
