Unlicensed firearm operation in Adana: 15 suspects arrested
15 out of 45 suspects detained in an operation against unlicensed firearm and ammunition trafficking in Adana have been arrested.
Teams from the Adana Provincial Police Department's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch had been tracking a network involved in the trade of firearms and ammunition for some time.
"DAWN OPERATION CONDUCTED"
Following a 10-month technical and physical surveillance period, the teams launched an operation at dawn on the identified addresses with the support of special operations police.

During searches at the addresses, 52 unlicensed pistols, 2 rifles, and 803 rounds of ammunition were seized, and 45 suspects were taken into custody.
"15 SUSPECTS ARRESTED"

Of the suspects referred to the courthouse following their processing at the police station, 15 were arrested, 13 were released under judicial control conditions, and 17 were released by the prosecutor's office.
