US reiterates support for Israel: We have not set red lines for Gaza
White House National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby stated, "We are not drawing red lines for Israel" regarding the blockaded Gaza Strip.
Speaking at a press conference at the White House, John Kirby addressed developments regarding the Gaza Strip, stating, "We are not drawing red lines for Israel. We continue to support their security needs, and that will continue."
Kirby noted that they have been in communication with Israel since the beginning of the conflict, adding, "We have not hesitated to express our concerns regarding civilian losses, civilian casualties, and the approach they might choose to adopt. That is what friends can do."
LATEST SITUATION IN GAZA
Due to Israel's intense attacks on the blockaded Gaza Strip, landline, mobile phone, and internet communication services in the region have been completely cut off. The Israeli army announced that it is increasing its airstrikes and will expand its ground operations.
Al-Shifa Hospital, the largest health facility in Gaza housing thousands of wounded and civilians, has also been targeted by the Israeli army.
