Vahap Canbay had filed a complaint: New decision in the Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı murder case
The prosecutor's office has issued a decision of non-prosecution regarding the claim made by rapper Vahap Canbay, who was in the vehicle during the attack that killed Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı.
Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı lost his life in an armed attack in Istanbul on March 19, while rapper Vahap Canbay, who was in the same vehicle, escaped the attack unharmed.

According to a report by Sabah, a new decision has been reached regarding the complaint filed by Canbay, who claimed, "I was the target." In his petition, Canbay alleged that he was the actual target of Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu and that the bullet struck his friend Kundakçı, who was sitting next to him. The petition requested that Kadayıfçıoğlu's actions be evaluated under the scope of "attempted intentional homicide" against Canbay.

PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE DETERMINED THERE WAS NO CONCRETE ACTION
As part of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, witness statements, expert reports, and camera footage analysis records were evaluated. As a result of the examination, it was concluded that Kadayıfçıoğlu directly targeted the victim inside the vehicle and that there was no concrete action that could be classified as attempted intentional homicide against Canbay.

In line with this assessment, it was decided that there were no grounds for prosecution on behalf of the public regarding the allegations against Canbay concerning 10 individuals, including Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu.
The investigation file also includes charges against the suspects for "intentional homicide/aiding and abetting," "destroying, concealing, or altering evidence of a crime," "harboring a criminal," and "violation of Law No. 6136." It was stated that the decision of non-prosecution was issued specifically regarding Canbay's claim of an attack directed at him.
