Vatan Avenue and connecting roads to be closed to traffic during the parade: Istanbul Governor's Office announces alternative routes

During the October 29 Republic Day celebrations, Vatan Avenue and its connecting roads will be closed to traffic during the parade.

The Istanbul Governor's Office has announced the roads that will be closed to traffic from 06:00 in the morning until the end of the ceremony, as well as the alternative routes.

The statement from the Governor's Office is as follows;

Due to the October 29 Republic Day celebrations, Vatan Avenue and its connecting roads will be closed to traffic during the Republic Day parade.

The roads to be closed to traffic from 06:00 on Sunday, October 29, for the duration of the ceremony, and the alternative routes are as follows;

1- ADNAN MENDERES BOULEVARD (VATAN AVE.) BOTH DIRECTIONS WILL BE CLOSED TO TRAFFIC.

2- ENTRANCES TO ADNAN MENDERES BOULEVARD (VATAN AVENUE) FROM THE D100 NORTH AND SOUTH DIRECTIONS

3- ENTRANCES TO ADNAN MENDERES BOULEVARD (VATAN AVENUE) FROM 10. YIL AVENUE

4- ENTRANCES TO ADNAN MENDERES BOULEVARD (VATAN AVENUE) FROM EDIRNEKAPI

5- ENTRANCES TO ADNAN MENDERES BOULEVARD (VATAN AVENUE) FROM OGUZHAN AVENUE

6- ENTRANCES TO ADNAN MENDERES BOULEVARD (VATAN AVENUE) FROM SOFULAR AVENUE

7- ENTRANCES TO ADNAN MENDERES BOULEVARD (VATAN AVENUE) FROM HALICILAR AVENUE

8- ENTRANCES TO ADNAN MENDERES BOULEVARD (VATAN AVENUE) FROM AKDENIZ AVENUE

The south direction of the Hal road will be closed to traffic starting from the Bayrampaşa junctions, and traffic flow will be directed to the side road.
