Vehicle turns into fireball on European Motorway
A fire that broke out in the engine of a light commercial vehicle traveling on the European Motorway in the Bağcılar section of Istanbul quickly grew, turning the vehicle into a fireball. The fire caused traffic congestion on the motorway. There were no deaths or injuries in the incident, but the vehicle was rendered unusable.
The incident occurred at approximately 22:40 in the Bağcılar section of the European Motorway. According to allegations, the engine of the light commercial vehicle with license plate 34 FKM 17, driven by Ramazan Yayla and heading in the direction of Ankara, began to burn.

Yayla and his wife pulled the vehicle into the emergency lane and exited, while the flames grew rapidly. The fire caused traffic congestion on the motorway. As the burning vehicle turned into a fireball, police, fire, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification.

The vehicle, which experienced explosions, was extinguished by the intervention of fire crews and was rendered unusable. There were no deaths or injuries in the incident.
