Vehicle with blown tire hits median and flips: Person describes horrific accident where 6 were injured to relatives via video call

On the Kayseri-Ankara road, the tire of a Tofaş-brand vehicle with license plate 27 BE 497, driven by G.D., blew out.

As a result of the blowout, the driver lost control, and the vehicle hit the median, flipped, and crossed into the opposite lane. 6 people in the car, including 2 children, were injured.

Upon notification, ambulance, fire, police, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. While gendarmerie and police teams took security measures on the road, the injured were taken to hospitals by ambulances and placed under treatment.

The Tofaş-brand car, which was crushed like paper, was also removed by a tow truck.

An investigation into the accident has been initiated.

Meanwhile, a person who arrived at the scene of the accident explained how it happened one by one to their relatives via a video call. Showing the damaged vehicle to their relatives, the individual said, "they got off lightly."
