The incident occurred yesterday at a home located on Zafer Street in the Yeni neighborhood of the district. According to information obtained, friends of Gökçe Bebeci (25), a fourth-year student at the İzmir Institute of Technology (İYTE) Faculty of Architecture, notified the 112 Emergency Call Center after being unable to reach her for some time. Police teams arriving at the scene opened the door with the help of a locksmith and found the young woman lying motionless. Medical teams determined that the young woman had lost her life.
INITIAL FINDING: HEART ATTACK
The body of Gökçe Bebeci, whose death was reported as suspicious following an examination by municipal doctors, was taken to the İzmir Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for an autopsy after an investigation by the prosecutor. During the examinations conducted there, it was assessed that Bebeci, who showed no signs of physical assault or trauma on her body, had died of a heart attack according to initial findings.
LAID TO REST IN AYDIN
The body of Gökçe Bebeci, which was handed over to her family following autopsy procedures, was laid to rest in her hometown of Karacasu, Aydın.
