Verdict announced in the Çarşı trial involving 35 defendants
The verdict has been announced in the trial opened against members of the Beşiktaş fan group Çarşı following the Gezi Park protests.
The trial opened against members of the Beşiktaş fan group Çarşı following the 2013 Gezi Park protests continued today (December 23) at the Istanbul 13th High Criminal Court.
The prosecutor requested the acquittal of all defendants in the case, in which 35 people were being tried.
