Verdict hearing tomorrow! Call from Can Atalay regarding the 'Çorlu Train Massacre'

Gezi prisoner and TİP Hatay Deputy Can Atalay issued a call on social media ahead of the verdict hearing for the Çorlu Train Massacre.

Atalay stated, "This case is not just a legal process, but also a matter of conscience."

Atalay's post is as follows:

"Tomorrow, on April 25, 2024, at 09:30, the verdict hearing for the Çorlu Train Massacre case will be held at the Çorlu Public Education Center. 

This case is not just a legal process, but also a matter of conscience.

It should be the civic duty of all of us to hear the pain of the families of those who lost their lives in this massacre that took place in 2018 and to support their demands for justice. 

Only if we stand together is it possible for the true perpetrators of social murders to be tried and for similar disasters not to happen again.

Let us not forget that this is not just a case, but also a matter of conscience."

HEARING TO BE HELD TOMORROW

The verdict hearing for the train disaster that occurred on July 8, 2018, in the Çorlu district of Tekirdağ, which resulted in the deaths of 25 people, including 7 children, and left more than 300 people injured, will be held tomorrow. The hearing will begin tomorrow at 09:30.
