Melisa Yaren Aydınalp, who walked on Bağdat Avenue in a bikini with a sign reading 'Freedom for breasts', was taken into custody.

According to the report in Sözcü, Aydınalp, who was referred to the judgeship on charges of 'engaging in shameless acts', was released on the condition of a travel ban and the requirement to sign in at the nearest law enforcement unit on Mondays and Thursdays for 3 months.

In her interrogation at the judgeship, Melisa Yaren Aydınalp stated the following:

"I am the person in the images you asked about. I was walking to exercise my right to protest with a sign in my hand that read 'Freedom for breasts'. Meanwhile, my friend was filming me. None of my private parts were exposed. I did not engage in any shameless act. Every time I walk like this or even in my normal clothes, I am taken into custody.

This situation is also disrupting my education. I request that the measure requested against me be rejected. I am constantly experiencing the same thing."
