Veyis Ateş to undergo drug test

HE WILL UNDERGO A DRUG TEST
It was learned that Ateş, who left the courthouse after his statement was completed, willundergoa drug test at the Council of Forensic Medicine, just like the other individuals whowere taken into custody.
10 PEOPLE ARRESTED
As part of the investigation, among those including the former Habertürk Editor-in-ChA total of 10 people, includingDirector Mehmet Akif Ersoy, weresent to prison after being arrested on charges of "using narcotic substances," "possession," and "facilitating use."Thesuspects wereremanded.
SERCAN YAŞAR HAS BEEN RELEASED
Sercan Yaşar, who is known for frequentlyappearing at public launch events and for hiscloseness to well-known figures, was also taken intocustodyas part of the investigation. It was stated that Yaşar, who was arrested on charges of“possession ofnarcotics” and “drug trafficking,” benefited from effective remorse provisions at the prosecutor's office and was subsequently released.
ELA RÜMEYSA CEBECI WAS ARRESTED
Another name mentioned in the investigation file was former Habertürk anchor Ela Rümeysa Cebeci. Cebeci faces the accusation ofwas arrested with.
