Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz stated, "The insults directed at our President by the CHP Chairman, which clearly violate the standards of democratic competition, are unacceptable."
Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz shared a post on his social media account regarding the remarks made by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel.
In the post, he stated, "The insults directed at our President by the CHP Chairman, which clearly violate the standards of democratic competition, are unacceptable.
I condemn this irresponsible style of politics in the strongest terms and leave it to the conscience of our noble nation, including the sensible CHP voters."
This tone, which lacks any level, does not harm our President, who is the representative of the national will in the executive branch through the votes of our people; at most, it reveals the opposition's lack of quality, the reality of their inability to develop policies, and the irresponsible political approach they display in the face of a region that has turned into a ring of fire. In this stormy period we are going through, the resolute leadership of our President is an extremely valuable asset not only for our country but also for our region and the world.
We will continue to work day and night under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for the well-being and prosperity of our nation; instead of a politics of polemics and polarization, we will continue to strengthen our national unity and serve our people," he said.
