Citizens who saw a male corpse in Doğa Park in the Yiğitler neighborhood of Bursa's Yıldırım district on October 25, 2006, reported the situation to the gendarmerie. Upon arriving at the scene, the gendarmerie determined that the victim was Tuncay Türk, a man who had divorced his wife living in Germany and had one child.

The investigation determined that Tuncay Türk had been stabbed in the neck and subsequently shot in the chest and abdomen. It was also learned that Tuncay Türk's house was set on fire in an arson attack on October 27, 2006.

12punto.com.tr has obtained the murder case file from the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

Bursa Gendarmerie teams did not find any evidence during their investigation at the time regarding Perihan A., who was alleged to be Tuncay Türk's girlfriend, and her brothers Reyhani and Zafer A.

CASE TRANSFERRED FROM GENDARMERIE TO POLICE

The file was transferred to the Bursa Public Security Branch Homicide Bureau teams in recent months. The file, which was taken off the shelf, was recently given to the special team at the Homicide Bureau that solved the Yusuf Kavuk murder. The teams conducting the investigation first interviewed Tuncay Türk's neighbors. The neighbors stated that they heard shouting from the house one day before Tuncay Türk's body was found, and that they later saw Türk being taken away by force by 3 men. It was also revealed that the house was burned down 2 days after Tuncay Türk's murder to destroy evidence.

As the Homicide Bureau teams examined the file, they pursued suspects Zafer A., Reyhani A., İbrahim K., Yasin K., and Perihan A.

TWO DEAD, ONE FOUND IN PRISON

The special team at the Bursa Homicide Bureau determined through their research that Reyhani A. had died as a result of a fall from a height, and İbrahim K. had died of a heart attack. Yasin K. and Perihan A. were taken into custody.

"WE BEAT HIM FIRST, THEN KILLED HIM"

It was learned that Yasin K., who was interrogated by the experienced special team, said, "We first beat Tuncay at his house. Then we took him to the park by vehicle and killed him there. İbrahim used the pistol. Then Zafer went to the house and set it on fire."

THEY KILLED HIM FOR HONOR

It was learned that Tuncay Türk had a romantic relationship with Reyhani and Zafer's sister, Perihan, and that the murder was committed for this reason.

ZAFER FOUND IN PRISON

In the investigation meticulously conducted by the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Yasin K. and Perihan A., for whom detention orders were issued for "Murder and arson of a residence," were sentenced to 4 months of house arrest.

It turned out that Zafer A. was in prison for drug trafficking. It was learned that Zafer A., who was brought to court from prison, was arrested on charges of "Intentional homicide and arson of a residence."
