A citizen who noticed a 25-day-old baby left on Karakaş Street in the Kozluk neighborhood of İzmit notified police teams, ensuring the baby's rescue. The baby was taken to the hospital and is reported to be in good health, while police have launched an investigation into the incident.
A citizen named Mustafa Karakaş found the abandoned baby while passing through Karakaş Street at around 10:30 AM. Upon the report, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The health teams arrived shortly after, took custody of the baby, and transported the infant to the hospital by ambulance.
It was reported that the baby is 25 days old and male. While it was learned that the baby's health condition is good, police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
