Famous actress Nur Sürer, who witnessed the horrific moments of the femicide in Şişli, described her shocking experience, saying, "Another woman has been torn from life," and emphasized that the perpetrators must remain in prison for life.
Actress Nur Sürer, who witnessed the moments when a 34-year-old woman was killed by her ex-husband and his accomplices in Şişli, said, 'When I looked to the front, I saw the woman. My neighbor heard the screams. They shot at her from behind, and then when she fell to the ground, they fired 2 shots into her head with a gun. Another woman has been torn from life. These people need to stay in prison for life.'
According to the information received, 34-year-old Bahar Aksu was attempted to be kidnapped on the street in Şişli by her ex-husband Rüstem Elibol and the people with him, and subsequently lost her life after being shot. Aksu's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue. As a result of the efforts initiated to capture her ex-husband and the other perpetrators who killed Aksu, the suspects were caught by police teams during checks at the city exits in Silivri.

We hear about these things, we criticize them, and we attend meetings. In the morning hours, I heard 4 gunshots followed by 2 more. When I looked to the back, there was nothing. When I looked to the front, I saw the woman. My neighbor heard the screams. The woman screamed "Help," and then they put her in the car. However, she escaped from their hands, so she must have been a strong woman. They shot at her from behind, and then when she fell to the ground, they fired 2 shots into her head with a gun.
'ANOTHER WOMAN HAS BEEN TORN FROM LIFE'
The municipality came, washed those places, and left. Another woman has been torn from life. We don't know if she has children. I am truly very sad. I am against the death penalty; I hate countries that have the death penalty, but these people need to stay in prison for life. Killing women has become very easy. Two women are killed every day, and I am very sad to have witnessed such a thing,' she said.
