AKP Altındağ Mayor Veysel Tiryaki first attacked the tent set up by workers in front of the municipal building to demand their rights, and then punched a worker.
According to the information obtained, municipal workers began a protest in front of the municipal building against the administration's unfair practices.
Arriving at the protest tent with a crowd accompanying him, AKP Altındağ Mayor Veysel Tiryaki attacked both the tent and the workers.
Unable to contain his anger, Tiryaki also punched one of the workers.
Tiryaki, whose remarks regarding the workers' protest drew backlash just the other day, had said, “They have set up a tent outside the municipality. It seems there are many tent enthusiasts in the country.” One day after these remarks, Tiryaki physically assaulted the workers.
