Alper Gezeravcı reveals what he took with him to space
Alper Gezeravcı, who holds the title of the first Turkish astronaut, answered the question "What personal items did you bring with you?" in an interview.
Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır shared an interview conducted with the first Turkish astronaut Alper Gezeravcı on his X (Twitter) account.

“I brought some symbols belonging to the Turkish Yoruk culture. Some family photos and the flight patches of my first squadron. These are the items I brought.

In the interview conducted in English, Gezeravcı was asked which personal items he brought with him.
In the interview, where he emphasized that the reason that enabled him to come here was the Turkish flag, Gezeravcı said the following:
"I brought some symbols belonging to the Turkish Yoruk culture. Some family photos and the flight patches of my first squadron. These are the items I brought.
And my Flag, which enabled me to come here."
