A fire that broke out in a vehicle in the Eurasia Tunnel brought traffic to a standstill. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
The fire, which occurred in the direction of the Anatolian side of the Eurasia Tunnel, was brought under control by fire and police teams who arrived at the scene quickly following reports.
The fire was extinguished in a short time with the intervention of the fire department. Due to the fire, the tunnel was closed to traffic for a while and was subsequently reopened to transport. However, heavy traffic formed at the Anatolian and European entrances during the fire.
