Contractors eye Syria: 'We are following it like crazy'

TAV Holding co-founder and TAV Construction Chairman of the Board Sani Şener was a guest of Gözde Atasoy on the "İş’te Zirve" program broadcast on BloombergHT television. During the program, which took place at the Rahmi M. Koç Museum in Istanbul, Şener made statements regarding developments in Syria.

'WE ARE FOLLOWING SYRIA LIKE CRAZY'

Emphasizing the importance of closely monitoring global developments to evaluate new opportunities in the business world, Şener used the expressions, "Now look, there is a Syria situation. We are reading about Syria like crazy. We are following Syria like crazy."

A VERY LARGE BUSINESS FIELD WILL OPEN UP  

Stating that significant business areas for the contracting sector will emerge in Syria, Şener said, "A very large business field will open up for construction contractors. But can you do business without reading who is who and what is what? You cannot."

Emphasizing that understanding the world and having a strong business network are the fundamental elements of success in the business world, Şener said, "Your network needs to be very strong for this business."
