Controversial question at Hagia Sophia! 'Are you Muslim?' asked, then denied entry
Famous YouTube creator Ali Ertuğrul Öztarsu shared a shameful incident he experienced at the Hagia Sophia on social media. Öztarsu claimed that a South Korean Muslim friend of his was asked by an official to recite the Shahada and was subsequently denied entry.
Famous YouTube creator Ali Ertuğrul Öztarsu, who previously traveled to Pakistan to join the sect of a self-proclaimed healer known in Turkey as the 'Cuf Cuf Hoca', has now recounted an incident he experienced at the Hagia Sophia. In a video shared on his social media account, Öztarsu described the difficult moments, claiming that a guest of his from South Korea was not allowed into the Hagia Sophia.
Stating that his friend was asked to recite the Shahada despite having already declared that they were Muslim, the creator said, "My Korean Muslim guest was not allowed inside by security guards, who called them a 'liar' and a 'non-Muslim'."
The creator also shared the details of the incident, which he described as a 'shameful situation', on his social media account.
