The ordeal of citizens trying to get appointments at state hospitals continues. An elderly woman who went to the Istanbul Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital cried out after being told her appointment would be a month away.
The elderly woman, who had arrived at the hospital alone with great difficulty, collapsed to the floor upon learning that she could only be given an appointment for a month later.
The elderly woman wailed and let herself drop to the floor of the hospital corridor. Those moments were recorded by citizens nearby.
The elderly woman said, “How will I endure this? Do you think I want to be like this?”
