Elevator falls at KYK dormitory in Giresun
An elevator fell at the Gülpembe Hatun Girls' Dormitory, which is affiliated with the KYK in Giresun. While it was determined that no one was inside the elevator, dormitory management reportedly threatened students who were recording the incident.
In Giresun, an elevator located in Block B of the Gülpembe Hatun Girls' Dormitory, affiliated with the KYK, which had reportedly been malfunctioning for a long time, fell into the shaft during the evening hours.
MANAGEMENT THREATENED STUDENTS
According to a report in Sol, while it was understood that no one was inside the elevator, it is alleged that the KYK Provincial Director arrived at the dormitory and said, "I will break the head of whoever is recording a video."
While messages were sent to WhatsApp groups where students are present, stating that investigations would be opened against them if they took the issue to social media, it is stated that dormitory administrators are pressuring students instead of solving the problem.
ELEVATOR WAS UNDER RENOVATION
Students, who expect their problems to be resolved as quickly as possible, state that administrators should deal with the issues instead of taking steps to suppress students on social media.
It is stated that the elevator, which had not been in use for about a month because it was under renovation, had been put back into operation today.
