Elevator with student inside falls 3 floors at KYK dormitory! They allegedly blocked calling the fire department

Following the elevator tragedy in Aydın that caused the death of university student Zeren Ertaş, scandals at KYK dormitories continue.

At the Gazi Ayşe Girls' KYK Dormitory in İzmir, an elevator with one student inside fell from the 5th floor to the 2nd floor. It is alleged that permission was not granted to call the fire department to rescue the student, who remained trapped in the elevator for 45 minutes.

Footage showing students' efforts to rescue their friend was shared by the social media account Barınamıyoruz Hareketi (We Cannot Find Shelter Movement) with the caption: “We have said it repeatedly; elevators are still falling in dormitories. Stop lying, take precautions!” No statement has been made by official sources regarding the incident yet.
