Erdoğan travels to Hungary
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has traveled to Hungary to attend the Informal Summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Budapest. At the summit, steps to strengthen the organization's institutional structure and important documents such as the Budapest Declaration will be discussed.
AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has traveled to Hungary aboard the private aircraft 'TUR' to attend the Informal Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
President Erdoğan was seen off from Ankara Esenboğa Airport by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Presidential Secretary-General Hakkı Susmaz, Ankara Governor Vasip Şahin, and other officials.
President Erdoğan was accompanied on his trip to Hungary by his wife Emine Erdoğan, Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, and Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç.
Within the scope of the Budapest Summit, held under the theme "The Meeting Point of East and West," the ongoing efforts to strengthen the institutional structure of the Organization of Turkic States will be reviewed.
At the conclusion of the summit, it is expected that various documents and decisions, primarily the Budapest Declaration, will be adopted.
