Fans of rapper Çakal and social media influencer İbrahim Tilaver, who attended a film premiere held at a shopping mall in Esenyurt, caused a major stampede. The crowd, consisting mostly of young people, first began arguing with each other, then created a panic by using a fire extinguisher against one another.
The incident occurred yesterday evening at a shopping mall in Esenyurt. According to information obtained, the crowd formed by fans caused a stampede during the moments when Çakal and İbrahim Tilaver were attending the film premiere.
Arguments that started among some of the young people in the crowd turned into a fight in a short time. During this time, one person created panic by spraying a fire extinguisher around. While police and security guards had difficulty calming the crowd, those moments were reflected on mobile phone cameras.
