Fire at Pendik Marina: Extinguished following intervention by crews
Numerous fire crews responded to a fire that broke out in the area where boat fuel tanks are located at Pendik Marina in Istanbul. The flames were extinguished in a short time with the intervention of the fire department.
The fire occurred at Pendik Marina around 12:00. According to allegations, a fire broke out in the boat fuel storage area for an as-yet unknown reason.
CREWS DISPATCHED
While the black smoke rising into the sky caused panic, numerous fire crews were dispatched to the scene upon reports from citizens.
FIRE BROUGHT UNDER CONTROL
The fire was brought under control in a short time with the intervention of the fire department. An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire.
