Fire on a ferry off the Sea of Marmara! Coast Guard arrived
It has been reported that a fire broke out in the engine room of a ferry named Yavuznaz off the Sea of Marmara.

A fire broke out on the ferry named Yavuznaz, which was sailing in the Sea of Marmara, approximately 20 minutes after departing from Avşa Island.
It was learned that there were 50 vehicles and nearly 250 passengers on the ferry, and that the fire started in the engine room.

A citizen on the ferry, in footage recorded with a phone camera, said, “A fire has broken out in the engine room right now. The smoke has lost some of its intensity. However, the engine room is still burning.”
Upon the report, it was seen that Coast Guard units approached the ferry.
DARDANELLES STRAIT CLOSED!
According to the latest information obtained, it was learned that the ship will be towed and the Dardanelles Strait has been closed to vessel traffic.
