Fire panic near Gaziosmanpaşa Venezia Mall

A fire that started at an indoor soccer field in Gaziosmanpaşa spread to an adjacent business center. The smoke rising from the fire, which grew rapidly, was visible from kilometers away. While the fire was brought under control through the intervention of firefighting crews, the moments of their response were captured from the air.

The fire occurred around 10:30 a.m. on 648th Street in the Karayolları neighborhood of Gaziosmanpaşa. According to the information obtained, a fire broke out for an as-yet-undetermined reason at an indoor soccer field located on the street. The fire grew quickly and spread to the business center next door. Upon notification, police, fire, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.

Flames rising from the tents on the upper part of the soccer field spread to the business center next door. Fire crews intervened in the flames rising from a shoe and fabric warehouse located inside the business center. The fire was brought under control following the work of the crews.

Gaziosmanpaşa District Governor İskender Yönden, who arrived at the scene after the fire, stated, “The fire that started in the shoe factory's warehouse has been brought under control. Our colleagues are working with great dedication. The good news is that we have no injuries or loss of life.”

SMOKE VISIBLE FROM KILOMETERS AWAY

The smoke rising from the fire that started at the soccer field and spread to the business center was visible from kilometers away. While there was no loss of life or injury in the fire, medical teams provided initial treatment to citizens affected by the smoke.
