Fire panic on Sefaköy metrobus
A fire broke out in the engine compartment of a metrobus at the Sefaköy metrobus station in Küçükçekmece, Istanbul.
Passengers who noticed smoke coming from the engine compartment of a metrobus at the Sefaköy Metrobus Station notified the staff. Security personnel at the station intervened in the vehicle with fire extinguishers. The small-scale fire in the engine part of the vehicle was extinguished before it could flare up. The metrobus was removed from the road by a tow truck that arrived at the station.
Meanwhile, the smoke from the metrobus spread to the Sefaköy section of the D-100 highway, causing difficult moments for drivers.
The moment security personnel intervened in the fire on the metrobus was captured on a mobile phone.
