A fireball-shaped meteorite was spotted in the Kanto region of Japan's capital, Tokyo.
A fireball-shaped meteorite has been spotted in Japan.
The meteorite, which was visible from various parts of the Kanto region in the capital Tokyo, became a focal point of interest on social media. The footage of the meteorite, which resembled a fireball and was observed at 06:55 local time, was captured by dashboard cameras in moving vehicles as well as security cameras at homes and workplaces.
Experts, who noted that it is impossible to know where and when such a natural phenomenon will be observed, stated that those who saw the meteorite were lucky.
