Footage of the attack at a Sarıyer music hall has emerged

The incident occurred the night before last at approximately 02:40 at a music hall in the Huzur neighborhood of Sarıyer. The suspect, identified as Yusuf H. (36), entered the music hall and opened fire on Yunus Danış (22) and Ömer Danış (30), who were sitting with two hostesses. Ömer Danış lost his life in the attack, while his cousin, Yunus Danış, was seriously injured.

Following the incident, teams from the Murder Bureau conducted an investigation and solved the case in a short time. According to the information obtained, Yusuf H. met Burcu S. (38), who worked at the music hall in Sarıyer, 6 months ago. They saw each other for about 2 months. After a while, problems arose between them, and for this reason, Burcu S. stopped seeing Yusuf H. After this breakup, Yusuf H. came to the music hall several times to try to talk to Burcu S. However, Burcu S. stated that she did not want to see him again.

It was determined that the suspect, Yusuf H., first arrived at the scene around 00:00 on the night of the incident and later left the venue. The suspect returned to the music hall at approximately 02:45 and opened fire directly on the two people at the table where Burcu S. was sitting. Security camera footage of the incident has also emerged. In the footage, the suspect is seen entering the music hall and firing his weapon with cold-bloodedness. He is then seen leaving the scene calmly.

SENT TO THE COURTHOUSE

Acting after the incident, Murder Bureau teams apprehended the suspect in a short time at a house where he was hiding in Tuzla. Following the procedures at the Public Security Branch Directorate, the suspect, Yusuf H., was sent to the courthouse.
