Footage of the search at the home of Murat Ongun and his wife emerges: Amount found in the safe revealed

Footage has emerged of the search conducted at the home of Medya A.Ş. Board Chairman Murat Ongun and his wife Zeynep Ongun, who were detained by teams from the Istanbul Police Department's Financial Crimes Investigation Branch as part of the 'corruption and terrorism' investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) and the suspended İBB Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.

During the searches, a total of 83 thousand 700 TL, 227 dollars, 31 thousand 50 euros, and 1 thousand 640 pounds hidden in various parts of the house were seized.

In her statement to the police, Zeynep Ongun stated that 13 thousand 800 TL of the money was her son's holiday pocket money, while it was learned during the investigation that the 13 thousand 800 TL was seized from the safe along with the other foreign currencies.
